I'm still swimming through the 7.6 upgrade document but I (so far) haven't seen an answer to this so I thought I'd ask.
We're on 7.5.0.7 Windows Masters with 5220's and 5230's running 2.5.4.
I know I have to suspend all SLP's while an upgrade of a Master is in progress. However, can I still have the remote Appliances sending AIR data to the local Appliances and just hold off on the Import (and additional steps) until I can activate the SLPs post-upgrade?
I can, if needed, shut down the SLP's at the sending side but then that data will never get to the other end (incompatible tape drives and a 23.5 hour replication period. The previous day's replication finishes right before the current day's kick in.). It's going to be bad enough loosing multiple days of AIR when it comes time to upgrade the Appliances, I'd like to still get as much replicated as possible otherwise.
Thanks,
