NBU Master Server on Win 2012 R2?

I'm looking through the OS compatibility list found in TECH76648 and I'm not seeing Win 2012 R2 as an option for a 7.6.0.1 Master/Media Server, just client backups. For some reason I have it stuck in my head this was/is a supported configuration.  If this is not a currently supported Master/Media Server configuration have they made any announcement of when it will be supported? I'm trying to plan a master server migration to new hardware and really would prefer to have the latest and greatest OS so I don't have to revisit this sooner. :)
